World Evangelical Alliance General Secretary, Bishop Efraim Tendero, delivered a sermon at the World Olivet Assembly headquarters chapel on Sunday, July 17, 2016. The sermon was centered on the active participation of all believers in global evangelism.
Bishop Tendero was very thankful and honored to speak with members of World Olivet Assembly. His message came from Acts 5:27-32 and explained three reasons as to why every believer should be involved in evangelism.
The first reason for the involvement of global evangelism is to obey the executive order of the Father God. The second reason is to present the exclusive offer of the Son, Jesus Christ. And thirdly, to experience the explosive power of the Holy Spirit.
Bishop Tendero encouraged the congregation to proclaim the gospel to the whole world.
"Let us do the main task that will bring transformation. We believe that the gospel is the power of God," he said. "Let's enable the churches to advance the good news of Jesus Christ and effect personal and community transformation. We should connect for common action, represent with a global voice, and equip for global impact."
Let us obey the father in heaven, offer the exclusive offer of Jesus Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to flow in our lives.
