Vietnam Church Holds Bible Camp, Proclaims True Freedom in Christ

Vietnam Bible Camp

Seeking to proclaim the true freedom found only in Jesus Christ, Hanoi Immanuel Church in Vietnam recently organized a Bible camp, entitled "Set Myself Free."

The two-day camp featured lectures that centered on the themes of creation, sin and salvation in Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit worked greatly as the hearts and world views of the participants were changed by the Word of God.

Through the Word, they came to see their true problems in life that are being bounded by sin, and how sin eventually destroyed their original image of God, leading them to face suffering and pain. However, by the grace of God, He opened a way of salvation to them through Jesus Christ who reconciled them and restored them to a right relationship with God.

Reflecting on the Bible lectures, a participant shared, "Before I came to know Christ, I used to think that I was not important. However, after I came to know Christ, I realized that I'm very important in the eyes of God, that everyone has their own value."

"These lectures made me think a lot. I used to think that I'm very unique and important, but at the same time I feel that I don't have the value of existence... I want to gradually understand myself more over time," said another participant.

Apart from the Bible lectures, attendees watched a Gospel film together, participated in games and prayer, and other activities relating to the Bible lectures, helping them to engage the Scriptures more deeply.

May the fire of revival through the Bible camp continue to burn brightly within the hearts of the participants, leading them to continue to know the love and grace of God more deeply as they seek after Him each day.
