Bible Teaching for Nairobi High School Encourages Godly Youth

Africa

Gratia Church pastors and leaders in Nairobi, Kenya, visited the 'Top Mark' High school on May 31st, 2017.

It was the second visit that church leaders made since the school has requested that pastors would regularly lead the service every week. The Christian Union holds service every Monday where Gratia Church teaches the Bible as a part of the program.

Pastor Fredrick from Nairobi Gratia Church gave a sermon based on the topic of "Blessing". The verses were read from Deuteronomy 28:1-14, James 1:13-15, and Proverbs 16:2-3. The Bible explicitly explains when God blesses and does not bless. Students were encouraged to meditate the ways to receive the true blessing from the Lord as they await for promising life in truth.

The preacher addressed that having the fear of the Lord protects their path and prevents them from deviating from following worldly temptations and the depravity of sin. At this sensitive age, young adults look towards God to keep the Word in their heart and life to lay a life foundation on the truth.

Gratia Church in Nairobi continues to expand their ministry programs to schools and communities in the neighborhood. The sermons were regularly given for the school to help students understand the Word deeply and prepare their spiritual journey with the Lord.
