Asia Leaders Attend Asia Evangelical Alliance General Assembly in Indonesia

Olivet Assembly of Asia leaders attended the Asia Evangelical Alliance (AEA)'s General Assembly 2016 being held at New Covenant Church in Bandung, Indonesia from 30th August - 1st September, 2016.

On the first day of the leaders attended various lectures which included an opening remarks by Rev. Dr. Sangbok David Kim of Korea, the Chairman of AEA, Rev. Dr. Richard Howell from, General Secretary of AEA, Rev. Dr. Paul Ueki of Japan Evangelical Fellowship and as well as two breakout sessions - one by Dr. Gideon Tanmabaan on Authentic Leadership and Discipleship in Culturally Sensitive Areas and another by Mark McClendon on Discipleship in Authentic Leadership in Social media generation.

On the first day, as encouraged by the leadership of AEA, the participating leaders met leaders from other countries and made good relationship with them as well.

On the third day, leaders spent mostly in reflection from the general assembly and a wonderful farewell program was held the previous night as Bishop Tendero and other dignitaries were leaving ahead.

Commenting on the just concluded assembly, Dr. Peter of OA India said, "It was a very historical gathering. Buttons have been passed on to younger leaders in many national alliances and it is truly a good sign for the evangelicals," he said.
