With the implementation of 'Project Hope' and '1+2 Discipleship Project' since the beginning of this year, Olivet Assembly of Southeast Asia ministers are actively laying down the foundations to run both projects with the hope to reach thousands of new believers across this year, and are beginning to witness the potential of both projects to draw people to their respective churches.
Following a period of analysis over the encouraging responses from Christmas events and evaluation of resources to run 'Project Hope' classes in the long term, Cambodia church have begun language classes for teenagers and are seeing how the classes are drawing non-Christians in the church neighborhood to the church. Additionally, both Laos and Philippines churches have also kicked-off their new sessions respectively, and are beginning to draw in newcomers.
As for '1+2 Discipleship Project', local churches are continuing to cast the vision to their fellow members by encouraging them to identify the first five people from their family and friends network to begin praying for them, while also guiding them to prepare personal testimony and short introduction to the 4 Spiritual Laws. Among the churches, Vietnam church has held two training sessions of casting vision to its members, in addition to guiding them to write down their personal testimony and improving them through practicing with each other.
With the Lunar New Year drawing close and with many members returning to their hometowns, it is anticipated that the preparations will serve as a precious channel for members to share the Gospel to their friends and family members that they will encounter during the period of celebration.
It is with a great hope that as the ministers continue to pour in efforts to advance both projects, many souls will be led to receive Christ as their personal Savior, and eventually be guided to commit their lives for the purpose of building His Kingdom together.
