AM South Sudan Starts Prison Ministry, Teaches Freedom in Christ

AM South Sudan taught Freedom in Christ, Obedience, Repentance, and Love in their Visit to Juba Central Prison. Apostolos Mission in Juba University visited JCP with a vision of restoring hope in their lives.

The chapter leader plans to set up a foundation for the country's AM leadership. In their visit to the prison with 16 other youths from Juba University Christian Society, their aim was to restore hope in the lives of those in Prison. They gathered and ministered to about two hundred and fifty (250) men, women and youths in prison.

Under the theme scripture from Galatians 5:1 NIV[1] It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery they taught freedom in Christ, Hope, Repentance and forgiveness, obedience and fear of God and Love. It was such a blessing to the inmates as they received grace from the visitation and they called for more visitation as it encourages them and strengthens them, one of the inmates testified. There was time for prayers as well since some of them had prayer requests.

The youths were encouraged to continue with the spirit for that is what God desires them and every believer to do. Care for those in prison and the orphans as well as widows.
