2018 Southeast Asia-Hong Kong Christmas Retreat concluded with a gracious closing service on December 16.

The choir team led by Jubilee gave the powerful and graceful song "Give Us Vision". Then Pastor Samuel Chang, representative of SEA region, delivered a message titled "The Coming of Christ." He said, "There is a dream of God. He prepared everything for us, but we fell and don't understand the love and sacrifice of God. We fall into the pain of sin. But the grace of God came upon us through Jesus Christ. This is the gift of grace. We have to welcome Jesus and be in the same boat with Him. Jesus loves us unconditionally and lets' respond with unconditional love!"

After the closing service, members enjoyed an excellent time of fellowship. They went hiking at Tai Ping Mountain and watched the beautiful view from the Peak. They also took the ferry to cross the famous Victoria Harbour.

On the four-day of the retreat, there were five Bible studies focusing on Galatians to proclaim the true gospel. There were also special lectures and testimonies. Most importantly, the leaders of the three regions held many conferences and prayer meetings for mission. The new paradigm of union of SEA and HK  has started.

Pastor Samuel reflected, "The plan of God is so amazing. We didn't expect this kind of retreat before, but suddenly we made a decision for this retreat. Even though we don't know how to prepare, we just did it by following God and He made history."

He continued, "Now we have greater plan and communication, and we found that we just enter a new paradigm. Southeast Asia and Hong Kong will proclaim the Word of God together and will unite and dispatch missionaries to many countries. Through this gathering, we are able to know each other's situation, and we can know the need of each other. The most important is that we realize we need each other. We will gather more often in Hong Kong in the coming year!"

The host of the gathering, Hong Kong representative Pastor Nathan shared, "In this gathering, we reviewed the historical position of Hong Kong. Through conferences and reflections, we are more firm in the path of the Kingdom of God!"
