Recent evangelistic events in Ecuador have been focusing on preaching the gospel to young children. And after a week of intense preparation, a children's workshop saw the abundant from of 70 children receiving the gospel of salvation.
Many of the children have continued to attend follow-up events hosted by the church to learn more about the basics of Christian faith, particularly the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
But these events seek to do more than just reach young children. Church leadership hopes that parents in the local community can also be brought into the church through their children—an important work in a country where education is lacking and distrust in Christian churches and pastors hinders adults from attending church.
The children's workshops have been well-received and parents have encouraged staff to continue holding similar events in the future.
May God continue to open doors in Ecuador, helping these children and their parents to come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
